Generic Terms & Conditions (Cakes, Cupcakes & More)

These terms apply to all artisanal orders including individual cakes, cupcakes, and combo boxes.

Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. For orders under £100, full payment may be required upfront. For larger orders, a 50% deposit is required. Your date is not reserved until the deposit is received.

Final Balance: The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 7 days prior to your collection or delivery date.

Design & Changes: We will do our best to match inspiration photos; however, as all items are artisanal and handmade, slight variations in color and style may occur. Changes to design or flavor cannot be made within 7 days of the order date.

Collection: Once an order has been collected and has left our premises, Mimi’s Marvels is no longer responsible for any damage caused during transit. Please ensure the cake is kept on a flat surface (the footwell of a car is often the safest spot).

Storage & Shelf Life: Cakes should be stored in a cool, dry place. Unless specified, do not refrigerate sponges as this can dry them out. Consume within 3 days for optimal freshness.

Cancellation Policy: * Cancellations made more than 14 days before the date will lose the deposit only.

Cancellations made within 7–14 days will be charged 75% of the total cost.

Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable.

Wedding Terms & Conditions

Due to the scale and detail of wedding orders, the following specific terms apply.

Booking & 2-Month Rule: We do not accept wedding cake bookings with less than 2 months’ notice. A £100 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your wedding date.

Final Payment: The final balance for wedding orders is due exactly 4 weeks (28 days) before the wedding date. Failure to pay may result in the cancellation of your order.

Delivery & Setup: We highly recommend our delivery and setup service for wedding cakes to ensure the tiered structure is safely assembled at the venue. We are not liable for any damage occurring after we have set up and left the venue.

Fresh Flowers & Toppers: If you are providing your own flowers or topper, these must be at the venue ready for our arrival. We reserve the right not to use flowers that appear wilted or unsafe for food contact.

Tastings: Wedding consultations and tasting boxes are available for £40. This fee is waived/deducted for all confirmed 3-tier wedding cake orders.

Corporate & Event
Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to corporate catering, recurring office orders, and milestone events.

Payment Terms: Corporate clients will be invoiced upon order confirmation. Payment must be settled via Stripe or PayPal within the agreed timeframe. For recurring “Majestic Morning” or “Royal Office” selections, automated billing will be established.

Branding & Logos: For any orders requiring edible prints or logo customization, high-resolution files must be provided at least 10 days in advance. An additional 20% margin/fee applies to custom branding elements.

Recurring Orders: Weekly corporate orders must fall on the same day each week (e.g., Every Monday). To pause or cancel a recurring order, 7 days’ notice is required.

Delivery Logistics: It is the client’s responsibility to provide accurate entry info (loading bays, front desk protocols). If delivery is delayed due to access issues, Mimi’s Marvels cannot guarantee the freshness of time-sensitive items (e.g., croissants).

Event Setup: For “The Marvel Experience” or “The Elegant Affair,” a setup window of at least 2 hours is required at the venue.

Allergens & Dietary Requirements

Important Notice for all Customers:

Disclaimer: While we offer “Allergy-Friendly” options (e.g., Nut-free or Gluten-free), please be aware that all Mimi’s Marvels products are prepared in a kitchen that handles Nuts, Dairy, Gluten, Soya, and Eggs. We cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment. It is the client’s responsibility to inform their guests of this risk.

We specialise in bespoke cakes, cupcakes, dessert tables, and corporate treat packages for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. Each order is designed to match your event theme, branding, or personal vision.

Weddings & Large Events: 4 months or more.

Corporate Orders: 4–12 weeks.

Celebration Cakes & Cupcakes: Minimum 2 weeks (subject to availability).

Yes. Corporate orders can include company logos, branded colours, themed packaging, and personalised messages.

Yes, delivery is available depending on location and order size. Fees are calculated based on distance and setup. We highly recommend collection for all orders except weddings.

Absolutely. All cakes and cupcakes are made to order. We welcome custom combinations and design inspirations, and we can provide suggestions if you’re unsure.

Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Payment plans may be available for larger wedding orders.

We offer selected options for dietary needs. Please discuss any allergies at the enquiry stage so we can advise you appropriately.

Yes. We can incorporate company logos, brand colours, themed packaging, and personalised corporate messaging.

Yes. We offer scheduled corporate delivery services for offices (The Majestic Morning & Royal Office Collections) and staff appreciation events.

Minimum quantities may apply depending on the product type. This will be confirmed during the quotation process.

A deposit is required to secure the booking, with the remaining balance due 7 days before delivery unless prior account arrangements are agreed.

Yes. We cater for conferences, company celebrations, client gifting programmes, and large-scale branded dessert installations.

How do I start the booking process?

Enquire via our Wedding Form. We will check availability and provide a bespoke quote based on your vision.

Yes. We offer tasting boxes for £40 featuring all our signature flavours. If you book a 3-tier cake (or any Grand Celebration package), this fee is deducted from your final balance.

Yes. We do not accept wedding cake orders with less than 2 months’ notice. Most couples book 6–12 months in advance to secure their date.

Yes. All wedding cakes are delivered and professionally set up by our team to ensure they look perfect. Collection is available by request, but not recommended for tiered cakes.

We have a selection of luxury stands available for hire. A security deposit is required and is fully refunded upon the safe return of the stand.

Yes. We love working with florists. We recommend your florist provides the blooms, and we will apply them on-site during setup to ensure food safety and aesthetic perfection.

Please notify us immediately. We will do our best to accommodate the change, though booking fees are non-refundable and subject to our availability on the new date.
